Read about our recent commissioning work at Reunion Ales
At Zoedale we supply product to many industries including hygienic valves to the brewing industry as well as offering service, repair and commissioning. As Beer and Ale enthusiasts ourselves this is a particular industry we enjoy supplying and we're committed to offering high quality control valve products and a unique personal level of customer service.
We received an enquiry from a new start up brewery who had purchased a brewery kit featuring the quality made German Guth valves and was in need of replacement seals and some assistance with the commissioning.
Zoedale is the appointed sole UK supplier & stockist for Guth Ventiltechnik, so we sent one of our service engineers to visit their site and carry out the work.
The owner had been working in an office for many years and decided it was time for a change. Since studying Natural science at Cambridge University, Francis Smedley has been a keen home brewer for some time.
Planning for Reunion Ales started back in April this year and as of October, building of the brewery began. Reunion Ales believe that ‘good beer is the product of design, experimentation and experience’.
Having trained with Brew Lab in Sunderland, Reunion Ales are wanting to create ‘uniquely satisfying beers in batches sized to meet demand so that they are only ever enjoyed fresh’.
Brewing is expecting to start before Christmas with the first batch to be ready for early in 2016. They will be producing both casks and bottled Ale with the hope of expanding to Kegs and lager in the near future.
We wish Francis the best of luck and look forward to supporting them in their new venture, most importantly we are eager to sample some product!
